empyrean capsules of stolen frisson

pearls drip and peaches glisten

vermillion pillows rose and plush

passions burst and galaxies blush

a deliverance of picayune deaths

in the warm springs of hiraeth

where a luminous purity blooms

numinous and bare it looms

as delicate arms caress and sift

while fragile fingers wrap and gift

what's found in clouds of lambent silk

wrapped in shawls of angel’s milk

fastened tight with cashmere coat

plucked from ether and left to float

blown to you gentle as a kiss

a glimpse of paradise
