Adjacent to a Purpose

A poem about wandering

Photo by John Fowler on Unsplash

Wandering

A psyche stilled senses synchronicity

Meditating

To polish the jewels of sensitivity

Finding

The fun, in and of itself

Sowing

The seeds of my internal wealth

Longing

To long no more for future bliss

Praying

Pre-emptive thanks for contentedness

Forgiving

From a space of blamelessness

Pursuing

A path of disciplined aimlessness

Healing

From lives within lives long passed

Praying

With gratitude for what is yet to come to pass

Longing

For Samadhi’s celestial embrace

Sowing

That which yields a smile on buddha’s face

Finding

The treasures hidden in plain sight

Meditating

To pierce the darkness with the inner light

Wandering
